We visited this little Danish restaurant in Montmartre in Paris.

Terrie Sorensen: I came to art late, after high school and college. I thought taking an art class would bring my grade point down. I majored in English, minored in French. In learning about French culture, especially the arts, I was excited to discover how an artist could express herself with paints as well as a writer could express herself with words. I had a chance to take an art class in an adult school setting--no grades. I discovered I had enough ability to do art. So I took classes at Reedley College, Fresno State, Fresno Pacific, and Long Beach State. I had enough units to teach art in high school and junior high school. Now retired from classroom teaching, I have private students. I also am a docent at the Fresno Art Museum. Producing my own art takes up the rest of my "art" time.
